About The Project

The Client

SpotPin was crafted for passionate travelers eager to share and explore unique destinations. The client envisioned an app that fosters a vibrant travel community and empowers users to curate personalized travel experiences.

Challenge

One of the challenges we encountered was the lengthy upload process for large video spots. If the upload process failed, it required users to restart the entire process, causing inconvenience and frustration.

Our Solution

To address this challenge, we implemented a chunk upload feature. This allowed users to upload videos in smaller segments, minimizing the chances of failure and eliminating the need to restart the whole process. Users could simply upload the remaining chunks if the upload process was interrupted.
